Current Opportunities

Junior Operations Administrator

We are looking for a Junior Operations Administrator to lead project management and administrative tasks for Tessellation’s Data Coach platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Project management of LMS content development for the Data Coach platform.
  • Oversee and review content development by internal teams members and external sub-contractors.
  • Customer Service Responsibilities
    • Manage enrollment and permissions for the Data Coach platform.
    • Triage customer questions, bug tickets, and enhancement requests.
    • Manage communication and surveys for clients.
  • Lead content review (QA) and edits.
  • Manage sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and steering committees.
  • Manage task management boards.
  • Perform platform maintenance and basic enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Two or more years of relevant experience and/or demonstrated expertise in project management.
    • Demonstrated technical knowledge of managing and operating software-as-a-service platforms.
    • Ability to hold subordinates, peers, and super-ordinates accountable for delivery on committed projects.
    • Exceptional customer facing skills, including but not limited to communication skills and project management skills.
    • Demonstrated expertise in at least one widely used task management tool.
  • Bonus
    • Knowledge of agile scrum methodology.
    • Experience working with Monday.com.
    • Experience working with HubSpot.
    • Experience working with Learning Management Systems  tools, such as Dochebo or Elucidat.

Reporting and Analytics Trainer (Power BI & Microsoft Stack Focused)

We are looking for an Analytics Trainer who can provide direction for our clients in delivering managed data and analytics content and services using Tessellation’s Data Coach platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on project-based consulting engagements. 
  • Lead software and delivery process training projects.
  • Co-author and review training material content for the Data Coach platform.
  • Support or assist with operations and administration tasks of Data Coach platform’s underlying technology.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Four or more years of relevant experience and/or demonstrated expertise in data analytics and data visualization tools.
    • Microsoft Power BI and Power Platform expertise.
    • Two or more years of training experience in software training and/or adult education.
    • Exceptional customer facing skills, including but not limited to communication skills and project management skills.
    • Strong problem solving skills with a passion for learning and mastering new technologies, techniques, and procedures.
  • Bonus
    • Alteryx Designer, Tableau Desktop, Snowflake, FiveTran, and/or Thoughtspot experience.
    • Experience in program design/curriculum design.

Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist who can provide direction for our clients in delivering managed data and analytics content and services.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with client stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive complex business solutions.
  • Identify, mine, and analyze data from client databases to drive optimization and improvement of business strategies.
  • Design, build, and deploy custom data models using statistics modeling, machine learning, and optimization.
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement new data models, assess performance, and monitor outcomes.
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of data sources and consulting on data gathering best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, ideally in data science, mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering, or information management.
    • 2+ years performing data analytics and modeling with advanced languages, such as Python, R, SQL, to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
    • 2+ years of demonstrated results working in complex data environments including the use of simulation and modeling tools, such as R, Python, Spark, SQL.
    • Working knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques, such as clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, and their real-world advantages and drawbacks.
    • Experience analyzing, evaluating, and creating data architectures.
    • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts, such as regression, properties of distribution, statistical tests and proper usage.
    • Exceptional customer facing skills, including but not limited to communication skills and project management skills.
    • Strong problem solving skills with a passion for learning and mastering new technologies, techniques, and procedures.

Analytics Consultant

We are looking for a Data and Analytics Consultant who can provide direction for our clients in delivering managed data and analytics content and services. Immediate need for a Tableau Desktop Expert.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on project-based consulting engagements. 
  • Help clients develop analytical requirements through prototyping and visualization.
  • Create reporting and data visualization solutions.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and / or tune product performance or deployment issues when required.
  • Support or assist with backlog support and development.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Four or more years of relevant experience and/or demonstrated expertise in data analytics and data visualization tools.
    • Tableau Desktop expertise.
    • Demonstrated expertise in data literacy.
    • Two or more years of experience in consulting.
    • Exceptional customer facing skills, including but not limited to communication skills and project management skills.
    • Strong problem solving skills with a passion for learning and mastering new technologies, techniques, and procedures.
  • Bonus
    • Alteryx Designer, Power BI, Snowflake, FiveTran, and/or Thoughtspot experience.

Data Engineer

Help support our clients’ technical needs. Solution Architects, Data Stewards, and ETL developers are all encouraged to apply.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architect
    • Develop, construct, test, and maintain complex database architectures in the cloud, including EDWs, data lakes, and reporting data marts.
    • Design and implement streaming, search, and analytics solutions in the cloud.
    • Design and install on-prem or cloud-based infrastructure including networking, virtual machines, containers, and software.
  • Data Stewards
    • Recommend and implement methods to improve data reliability, accessibility, efficiency, and quality in a client’s existing infrastructure.
    • Ensure that the architecture that is in place supports the requirements of data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • ETL Developers
    • Employ sophisticated analytics programs, statistical methods and machine learning to prepare data for use in predictive and prescriptive modeling.
    • Define lift and shift ETL/ELT strategies to migrate on-prem data warehouses to cloud platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Expert experience in one (or more) of the following data domains:
    • Solution Architecture
    • Data Stewardship
    • ETL Developers
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field, ideally in computer science, mathematics or software engineering, or equivalent multi-year industry experience.
  • Experience working with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong technical competency in cloud-based data, architecture, and analytics technologies.
  • Familiarity with common client on-premise legacy EDW and data lake systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a proven track record of being able to effectively coordinate across teams.
  • Strong problem solving skills with a passion for learning and mastering new technologies and techniques.

Bonus points if:

  • You have consulting experience and/or exceptional customer-facing presentation skills.
  • You’ve managed projects and/or client relationships.
  • You have experience with enterprise-wide data and analytics toolsets, including business-side tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Looker).
