A Fortune 100 manufacturing conglomerate had a growing number of Alteryx Designer users but no ability to schedule workflows. Additionally, their team wanted to deploy an Alteryx Server, but had no one with experience to use and manage the server.
The server needed to meet varying security requirements, from unclassified internal data to restricted ITAR data. Publishers needed to understand the security implications of publishing their workflows, and admins needed to know how to manage infrastructure for those workflows too.
To aid a swift deployment, we first advised on strategic server configurations, gave security recommendations based on the restrictions of the data being used, and then set up a pilot group to test out our deployment trainings. We also heavily documented our entire implementation process.
In addition to technical configurations, we provided resources on how users can gain access to the server, publish workflows, ensure protections for workflows containing highly secure data, and collaborate with team members on the server.
Thanks to Tessellation and our staggered deployment strategy, we optimized adoption and successfully ushered in 100 publishers and 200 workflow users onto the server.
Our pilot group ensured a steady flow of feedback on the entire process and ultimately enabled the development of a custom, user-friendly training process for the entire company.
